About the Role
You will lead daily data center operations and manage Operations Engineers. You will ensure round-the-clock coverage, oversee AI and HPC infrastructure, coordinate incident response and maintenance, approve operational records, and improve procedures, safety, staffing, site performance, and operational governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- At least 5 years of data center operations, IT infrastructure, or HPC/AI infrastructure management experience
- At least 2 years of team leadership or people management experience
- Knowledge of data center operations and infrastructure management
- Familiarity with NVIDIA B300 clusters, GPU servers, storage systems, Ethernet, and InfiniBand
- Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU architecture, NVLink, NVSwitch, and AI cluster deployment
- Experience with server troubleshooting, firmware management, and hardware lifecycle management
- Understanding of structured cabling systems
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with shift scheduling, workforce planning, incident management, performance management, SOP/EOP development, and vendor coordination
- Willingness to provide hands-on and on-call support
Responsibilities
- Lead daily data center site operations
- Supervise Operations Engineers through staffing, scheduling, assignment, performance management, coaching, and development
- Ensure 24x7 operational coverage
- Serve as the primary escalation point for operational incidents
- Coordinate issue resolution and root cause analysis
- Oversee operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AI and HPC infrastructure
- Establish and improve SOPs, EOPs, and preventive maintenance programs
- Monitor site health, KPIs, incident trends, and infrastructure performance
- Coordinate hardware installation, commissioning, expansion, and lifecycle management
- Review and approve maintenance activities, change requests, incident reports, and handover records
- Ensure compliance with operational, safety, and security requirements
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide hands-on support
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
