About the Role
You will maintain investment models and reporting, prepare investor materials, and support due diligence. You will own corporate development and M&A strategy, research markets and competitors, develop an acquisition and partnership pipeline, provide strategic insights, and build investment cases and negotiate deals.
Requirements
- 5 years of payments or fintech experience.
- Investment banking, corporate finance or management consulting knowledge.
- Knowledge of the crypto-fintech operating environment.
- Communication and organisational skills.
- Project management.
- Traditional and crypto financial systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the long-term forecast and investment model.
- Maintain financial investment reporting to best-practice standards.
- Prepare investor materials, presentations and updates.
- Work with investment advisors on investment materials, data rooms and due-diligence processes.
- Own a corporate development and M&A strategy and framework.
- Align M&A strategy with organic growth capabilities.
- Identify strategic M&A opportunities to support growth targets.
- Conduct global market research, competitor research and trend analysis.
- Build a pipeline of fintech companies for acquisition and partnership evaluation.
- Develop strategic insights for business stakeholders.
- Build investment cases, conduct due diligence and negotiate deals.
