About the Role
You will build and scale the M&A and strategic investment function. You will advise senior leadership on corporate development strategy, source and evaluate deal opportunities, lead acquisitions and investments through integration, and represent the company at industry events.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience across venture capital, growth equity, investment banking, and corporate development
- At least 5 years operating at a senior level inside high-growth technology companies
- Demonstrated success leading and closing multiple end-to-end M&A transactions, including deal structuring, negotiation, and post-close integration
- Strong network across the European startup, venture capital, and technology ecosystem
- Cross-functional leadership skills across legal, finance, product, and executive stakeholders
- Written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Experience presenting to boards or senior leadership
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the corporate development strategy
- Advise senior leadership on how M&A and investment fit the company roadmap
- Build and lead the sourcing engine for strategic deal opportunities
- Manage relationships with bankers, VCs, and other intermediaries
- Build, lead, and scale the M&A process and supporting cross-functional team
- Lead senior-level founder conversations and turn insights into strategic recommendations
- Represent Lovable at key industry events
