About the Role
You will manage disputes from start to finish, advise on legal and commercial risk, and coordinate legal advice across jurisdictions. You will oversee external counsel, partner with internal stakeholders, improve risk controls, and monitor relevant legal developments.
Requirements
- Admission to practice law in a US jurisdiction
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to prioritize and complete work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate across functions
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Availability to work from the New York office and travel periodically
Responsibilities
- Manage disputes end to end and advise on commercial outcomes
- Coordinate legal advice across New York, Dutch, and other relevant laws
- Instruct and oversee external counsel
- Partner with internal teams to resolve disputes and prevent escalation
- Close risk areas and apply lessons learned to contracts and operations
- Apply AI tools to improve dispute-resolution work
- Support corporate legal projects and initiatives
- Monitor global legal developments and advise on risk mitigation
