About the Role
You will develop embedded software and firmware for robotic control, motion, and safety systems. You will tune motion-control systems, debug electromechanical issues, commission embedded platforms, support deployments, and document architectures, protocols, and troubleshooting findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of professional controls, embedded-systems, mechatronics, or related experience
- Electrical and mechanical engineering fundamentals for robotics and motion systems
- Experience with motion control, feedback loops, servo drives, and motors
- Embedded software development knowledge
- Industrial controller knowledge
- EtherCAT and CAN bus familiarity
- Ability to debug hardware, firmware, and control logic
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software and firmware for control, motion, and safety systems
- Design and tune motion-control systems and interfaces
- Debug electromechanical systems and hardware-software interactions
- Integrate embedded software and industrial controller logic
- Define commissioning, deployment, and over-the-air update processes
- Support products from prototype through production scaling
- Document architectures, algorithms, protocols, and troubleshooting results
