About the Role
You will own the quality, organization, and maintenance of connector documentation. You will build scripts, agents, content pipelines, deterministic checks, and AI workflows to generate, validate, and maintain documentation. You will establish information architecture, investigate quality failures, measure documentation health, and partner with subject-matter experts to prioritize improvements.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of professional experience creating or maintaining technical documentation for a complex software product
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technical communication, engineering, or a relevant field
- Ability to independently build, debug, test, and maintain scripts, agents, automations, or content pipelines
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or another programming language
- Experience with docs-as-code or software-development workflows, including Git, GitHub, command-line tools, code review, and CI/CD
- Advanced practical experience using AI beyond one-off content generation
- Knowledge of technical writing, content design, audience analysis, information architecture, task-oriented documentation, and progressive disclosure
- Recent professional experience in software development, test automation, or quality assurance
- Experience with automated tests or content-quality checks such as Playwright
- Experience documenting enterprise software, APIs, authentication systems, permissions models, integrations, or administrative workflows
- Familiarity with OpenAPI and structured documentation sources
- Ability to work on-site full time in Glean’s Bangalore office
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end quality, organization, and maintenance of connector documentation
- Develop expertise in connector configuration, authentication, permissions, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Build and maintain scripts, agents, and content pipelines for documentation automation
- Design reusable AI workflows with appropriate models, tools, context, instructions, and human review
- Create evaluations and guardrails for AI-generated documentation
- Build deterministic checks for stale, inconsistent, incomplete, or inaccurate documentation
- Establish information architecture for complex setup and configuration flows
- Partner with Engineering, Product, QA, Support, field teams, and customers to identify documentation risks
- Define and track documentation-health measures
- Apply successful documentation tools, standards, and quality systems across broader documentation
