About the Role

You will define and scale Plaid's content strategy to drive demand generation and brand awareness. You'll build a high-functioning editorial operation, ensuring voice and tone consistency across channels, and elevate Plaid's brand through high-quality, integrated content. You will own the editorial calendar across Plaid's owned channels, and manage the blog and customer and partner newsletters, maintaining editorial voice, tone, and quality standards across all content. You'll oversee organic social strategy to build an engaging social presence that grows comprehension for the products and trust in the brand. You will partner across marketing to align content with launches, campaigns, and demand generation goals, build processes that streamline creation, increase output, and ensure cross-channel alignment. You'll manage and mentor a lean content team and agencies, and measure content performance while sharing insights with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of content marketing or editorial experience, with a focus on B2B or fintech
  • 8+ years of experience in building and managing high-performing content teams
  • Strong editorial judgment with ability to establish and enforce high editorial standards and a consistent voice
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives that simplify complex topics
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to assess content performance and drive program strategy
  • Willing to flex across strategy and execution
