About the Role
You will lead daily construction activities, coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel, and monitor project progress. You will enforce safety standards, inspect quality, manage site resources and documentation, resolve field issues, and support planning, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial or industrial construction experience
- 2+ years of experience leading field crews or serving as a foreman
- Understanding of commercial construction methods and building systems
- Ability to read blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades
- Leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in active construction environments
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily construction activities on job sites
- Coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within quality expectations
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety standards
- Monitor project progress and resolve field issues
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and labor resources
- Perform quality inspections and ensure work meets project specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, facility teams, and customers
- Maintain daily reports, progress updates, and documentation
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and site logistics
- Improve productivity and reduce project delays
- Support commissioning, turnover, and final project closeout activities
- Travel to project sites as needed up to 25%
