About the Role
You will lead configuration-management services for critical electrical and mechanical systems. You will manage configuration-control projects, maintain controlled engineering records, verify installed conditions, resolve discrepancies, manage asset information, support electrical-system studies, present technical recommendations, and improve configuration-management workflows.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in engineering or a related technical discipline with at least eight years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced knowledge of electrical and facility systems, configuration management, technical documentation, and engineering principles
- Proficiency in CAD and field verification of installed systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain Department of Energy clearance
- Pass a pre-placement drug test and participate in ongoing random drug testing
- Complete a pre-hire physical after offer
Responsibilities
- Lead configuration-management services for critical electrical and mechanical systems
- Plan and manage configuration-control projects for construction, modifications, commissioning, maintenance, and upgrades
- Direct lifecycle configuration control of technical documents and records
- Verify drawings, equipment records, and configuration data against field conditions
- Coordinate corrective actions for technical discrepancies
- Manage facility equipment and asset information in controlled repositories
- Integrate contractor, vendor, and field information for electrical system modeling and studies
- Present technical briefings, findings, and recommendations
- Improve configuration-management methods, tools, and workflows
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring
