About the Role

You will own the day-to-day compliance function for MiFID and MiCA activities. You will embed MiFID II and IFR/IFD obligations into operations, maintain and improve AML/CFT and transaction monitoring, and translate regulatory requirements into practical internal processes. You will review product and feature changes before launch, manage regulatory requests and supervision with AFM and DNB, and support ongoing regulatory interaction. Use strong judgement, involve external advisors only when necessary, and work closely with product, legal and senior management to ensure policies match operational reality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of compliance or financial regulation experience
  • Strong understanding of MiFID II and AML/CFT processes
  • Experience working directly with regulators
  • Ability to turn regulation into practical execution
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
  • Understanding of the gap between written policy and operational behaviour
  • MiCA or crypto-related regulatory experience (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with custody, Travel Rule or sanctions processes (nice to have)
  • Experience in an AFM or DNB-supervised environment (nice to have)
  • Dutch language skills (nice to have)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure policies, implementation and operational reality stay aligned
  • Operate proactively in a fast-moving environment
  • Work closely with product, legal and senior management teams
