About the Role
The Community Manager will support The Thing, an onchain sentiment analysis platform, by testing components and bots, assisting community members, creating educational videos, participating in community calls, and traveling to conferences and events.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing crypto or blockchain communities is mandatory
- Perfect English
- Russian or Turkish is appreciated but not required
- Confident public speaking and presentation skills
- Comfort with business negotiations
- Willingness to stay online outside conventional working hours
Responsibilities
- Perform daily testing of platform components, bots, and onchain analysis functions
- Report bugs and performance errors to the supervisor
- Respond to community inquiries on Telegram and Discord
- Share roadmap updates and assist users with onboarding
- Create short educational videos about the platform and bots
- Participate in group calls, Twitter Spaces, and Discord voice chats
- Travel to conferences and community events at short notice
- Assist with ad hoc and housekeeping tasks
