About the Role
You will develop and validate device software and firmware for photonic compute and interconnect products. You will define control architecture, conduct validation and reliability testing, debug embedded systems, analyze data, optimize the software stack, and define product architecture and validation test plans.
Requirements
- BS in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field with 5+ years of ASIC firmware validation experience
- Understanding of hardware-software integration
- Knowledge of embedded-system communication, control, peripherals, and buses
- Experience in embedded software development
- Experience developing commercial or enterprise software and firmware on Linux
- Experience with Git and CMake
- Experience with data gathering, analysis, and reporting
- Proficiency with Python, C, C++, and MongoDB
Responsibilities
- Collaborate to define the control architecture for photonic interconnect products
- Drive software and firmware validation testing
- Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems using GDB, JTAG, and logic analyzers
- Define product architecture and validation test plans
- Gather requirements and usability criteria
- Conduct data analysis and optimize the software stack
