About the Role
You will lead post-silicon debug and validation for AI compute silicon and platforms. You will investigate hardware, firmware and system failures, develop automated validation infrastructure, define repeatable debug processes, and communicate risks and recommendations to engineering stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in bare-metal environments
- Understanding of SoC and platform architectures
- Expertise in debug infrastructure and post-silicon debug methodologies
- Programming skills in Python C or debug scripting languages
- Experience with post-silicon validation in digital ASIC environments
- Linux and Python experience
- Knowledge of scan DFT JTAG and trace infrastructure
- Debug skills including fault tree analysis failure isolation and fishbone methodologies
- Ability to work autonomously across hardware firmware and software debug tasks
Responsibilities
- Lead post-silicon debugging and validation efforts
- Analyze and resolve silicon firmware software and system-level issues
- Develop debug methodologies and failure-analysis processes
- Determine root causes with cross-functional engineering groups
- Debug CPU memory interconnect and high-speed I/O subsystems
- Develop automated debug regression and validation infrastructure
- Analyze logs traces telemetry and hardware data
- Develop validation tests debug tooling and diagnostics
- Define validation metrics workflows and reporting standards
- Support silicon readiness reviews and product release decisions
- Improve debug methodologies validation infrastructure and workflows
