About the Role
You will lead post-silicon debug for AI accelerator platforms across silicon, boards, and systems. You will diagnose hardware and firmware failures, build Python and C diagnostic tools, use lab equipment to investigate issues, and analyze schematics, register states, telemetry, and firmware behavior to identify root causes.
Requirements
- Experience in hardware debug and post-silicon bring-up for CPU, SoC, or ASIC systems
- Understanding of processor architecture and microarchitecture, including RISC-V, x86, or ARM
- Familiarity with debug and trace methodologies, such as iJTAG
- Experience diagnosing hardware, firmware, and software issues through root-cause analysis
- Experience building debug tools, automation, and scalable methodologies
- Experience partnering with ASIC, firmware, software, and validation teams
- Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology
Responsibilities
- Lead post-silicon debug across AI accelerator platforms
- Diagnose hardware and firmware issues on silicon, boards, and systems
- Debug power, thermal, GDDR, PCIe, Ethernet, SerDes, NoC, and firmware issues
- Develop Python and C diagnostic tools, automation, and debug frameworks
- Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers to investigate failures
- Analyze schematics, register states, telemetry, and firmware behavior to identify root causes
