About the Role

You will own the entire engineering organization and define the technical strategy for a mobile-first trading platform. You will architect market infrastructure, build protocol-level decisions, and design integrations with external infrastructure. You will lead and scale blockchain, smart contract, mobile, web, and backend engineering teams, implement processes that enable extreme velocity while preserving security and quality, manage a globally distributed organization, and present technical progress and investment cases to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 12+ years in engineering with at least 5 years in VP/CTO/Head of Engineering roles at high-growth companies
• Experience building or leading teams that shipped perpetuals, spot trading, order matching, or derivatives infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with EVM-based smart contracts and Solidity
• Deep knowledge of DeFi protocols and onchain infrastructure
• Understanding of protocol design tradeoffs, bridge security, and token standards
• Mobile-first consumer product experience with shipped mobile apps at scale (React Native or native iOS/Android)
• Cross-functional engineering leadership managing blockchain, backend, and mobile disciplines
• Familiarity with sports betting or prediction market mechanics

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical roadmap for a mobile-first trading platform
• Architect hybrid CLOB and RFQ market structures and protocol-level infrastructure
• Design integration architecture with Crypto.com infrastructure
• Build, scale, and retain high-performance engineering teams across blockchain, smart contracts, mobile, and backend
• Establish engineering culture rooted in accountability, velocity, and technical excellence
• Implement engineering processes that support extreme velocity while maintaining code quality and security
• Manage a globally distributed engineering team across APAC, EU, and US time zones
• Drive core technical workstreams including trading infrastructure, tokenization and RWA, blockchain and protocol, and the consumer app
• Align product and engineering priorities
• Present technical strategy and progress to executive leadership
• Build business cases for engineering investments with clear ROI articulation
