About the Role

You will serve as the CEO’s strategic partner, challenge assumptions, and advise on organizational design, market positioning, and capital allocation. You will lead executive operating rhythms, build planning and accountability systems, drive enterprise initiatives, maintain KPI reporting, support M&A activity, and lead special projects.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, public administration, or equivalent
  • 10+ years of strategy, operations, or consulting experience
  • 2+ years in a Chief of Staff, Director of Strategy, or equivalent role supporting a senior executive
  • Experience in defense, national security, or space industries
  • Understanding of government contracting
  • Experience building organizational capability and infrastructure in a high-growth environment
  • Public speaking or external company representation experience
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required export authorizations

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the CEO’s strategic partner and provide counsel on organizational design, market positioning, and capital allocation
  • Lead the executive team’s operating rhythm and track commitments to closure
  • Build meeting frameworks, decision templates, reporting cadences, planning tools, and accountability systems
  • Engage with M&A targets and strategic partners and contribute to deal evaluation
  • Drive cross-functional execution of enterprise initiatives
  • Maintain a strategic KPI dashboard
  • Lead special projects including acquisition integration, restructuring, and new-site stand-up
  • Exercise discretion and confidentiality in sensitive matters
