About the Role
You will support manufacturing, logistics, and distribution clients from issue discovery through improvement proposal and implementation. You will conduct site investigations, interviews, and data analysis; develop long-term roadmaps and KPIs; improve logistics and production processes; and coordinate stakeholders to manage project plans, progress, issues, and consensus. You will also develop proposals for new engagements.
Requirements
- Experience developing future-state concepts or strategies in a production engineering department
- Experience in supply chain strategy
- Experience with intralogistics automation or manufacturing-line automation
- Experience supporting manufacturing digital transformation at a consulting firm
- Recent graduates or second-job candidates are welcome
Responsibilities
- Design long-term roadmaps, KPI frameworks, and implementation plans for logistics and manufacturing clients
- Identify issues through site investigations, stakeholder interviews, and analysis of productivity, inventory, equipment utilization, and labor costs
- Define, design, build, and launch improved logistics schemes and manufacturing processes
- Support proof-of-concept initiatives, pilots, change management, and operational launches
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and manage plans, progress, and issues
- Develop new-business proposals through interviews, issue analysis, hypothesis development, proposal writing, and presentations
