About the Role
You will help establish a chemical manufacturing facility by translating lab data into process requirements and equipment specifications. You will procure or develop equipment, test and commission systems, support safe operations, and identify, communicate, and track engineering risks and mitigations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related discipline, or 4+ years of chemical engineering experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience taking a process through design, testing, iteration, and scale-up
- Experience delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
- Knowledge of mass and energy balances, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics
- Knowledge of chemical manufacturing unit operations
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain State and Federal explosives licenses
- Be at least 21 years old
- Pass pre-employment drug testing, health screening, and State and Federal background checks
- US Person status as defined under ITAR/EAR
Responsibilities
