About the Role
You will own environmental control system architecture, analyses, design, and integration. You will conduct trade studies, design air and cooling circuits, size thermal and fluid systems, manage suppliers, define and execute tests, analyze flight-test data, investigate anomalies, and implement rapid design changes.
Requirements
- US citizenship
- Active Secret or higher clearance
- 8 to 15 years of aerospace environmental control system and vehicle thermal-fluid system development experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Responsibilities
- Lead ECS architecture definition and trade studies
- Design and analyze air inlets, scoops, ducting networks, and ram-air cooling circuits
- Perform thermodynamic and heat-transfer calculations and fluid-thermal network modeling
- Author specifications and statements of work for ECS hardware
- Evaluate vendors and drive supplier technical execution
- Define qualification and verification test plans
- Design test rigs and execute test campaigns
- Process flight-test thermal and fluid data
- Investigate root causes and implement design changes
