About the Role
You will own fluid-system layouts, thermal transport hardware, and supporting mechanical designs for a Group 5 UAV fighter aircraft. You will perform system sizing and modeling, select components, resolve vehicle interfaces, support suppliers and prototype builds, and execute qualification testing.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret or higher security clearance
- 7 to 12 years of fluid systems design, thermal systems analysis, or mechanical systems installation experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Responsibilities
- Develop aircraft fluid-system layouts for ram-air, liquid cooling, ECS/TMS, and hydraulic circuits
- Perform pressure-drop, flow-balance, pump, reservoir, and thermal-transport calculations
- Build and maintain fluid and thermal system models
- Design supporting mechanical hardware and perform tolerance, clearance, and structural analyses
- Select and specify fluid-system components and hardware
- Resolve vehicle integration interfaces and installation requirements
- Support failure-mode analysis, contamination control, leak prevention, and redundancy definition
- Support component sourcing, supplier execution, prototype assembly, and test-fixture development
- Define and execute qualification test plans and support airworthiness certification
