About the Role

Oversee strategic capital deployment, risk architecture, and market operations while bridging DeFi mechanics, capital execution, corporate governance, accounting, engineering, and executive leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
6–10+ years of experience in finance, investment banking, or capital markets.
3+ years of hands-on blockchain or DeFi experience.
Advanced knowledge of on-chain data, AMM, lending, CDP, DeFi protocols, and market-making dynamics.
Proficiency with blockchain explorers, on-chain analytics tools such as Dune, and trading platforms.
Experience presenting complex investment and risk strategies to executives.
Experience connecting traditional accounting requirements with decentralized finance workflows.
Expert quantitative skills and experience building complex financial models.
Passion for decentralized finance and intellectual curiosity about industry trends.

Responsibilities

Manage the strategic roadmap for capital deployment.
Evaluate protocols and liquidity solutions.
Negotiate with institutional co-parties, liquidity providers, market makers, and DeFi protocols.
Execute cryptocurrency sales and treasury management programs.
Develop options and volatility programs.
Conduct DeFi protocol and asset due diligence.
Evaluate tokenomics, governance, technical viability, and strategic fit.
Build economic models for yield dynamics and net carry costs.
Conduct smart contract security diligence with Deployment Agencies.
Implement risk appetite frameworks and monitoring controls.
Design hedging and diversification strategies.
Monitor and enforce risk limits through alerting and reporting.
Optimize liquidity across currency pairs.
Manage volatility positions and lending and borrowing strategies.
Improve wallet configurations, position documentation, and fund flow routing.
Bridge Digital Capital Markets with Finance and Accounting.
Ensure DeFi activity is tracked, audited, and reconciled.
Generate performance and risk reports for leadership.
Oversee risk management documentation and audit-ready trading records.
