About the Role
You will own month-end close activities and complete internal and external financial reporting for legal entities. You will manage tax accounting, design management reports, develop forecasts and budgets, oversee treasury operations, support regulatory reporting, and maintain strong financial controls. You will also contribute to AI and automation initiatives, document processes, and provide a complete handover at the end of the contract.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance Commerce or Business
- Singapore Chartered Accountant qualification or international equivalent
- Supplementary qualifications in Financial Instruments Risk Management CFA or similar
- At least 8 years of finance and accounting experience
- Experience in a financial institution such as a bank hedge fund or trading firm
- Knowledge of technical accounting statutory reporting regulatory capital and taxation
- Knowledge of financial products particularly listed derivatives and their valuation and accounting
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with automation tooling
- Ability to work autonomously and implement solutions
- Ability to meet deliverables in a high-performing environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to influence diverse stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Own month-end close and financial reporting
- Manage tax accounting including income tax GST and transfer pricing
- Design management reports and develop forecasts and budgets
- Manage treasury operations and cash and capital forecasting
- Support regulatory capital and financial reporting obligations
- Operate within the Finance Control Framework
- Contribute to AI and automation initiatives
- Document processes and controls and deliver a complete handover
