About the Role
Manage and grow Direct Carrier Billing and Local Payment Method partnerships across Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China, resolving operational issues, tracking payment performance, researching markets and regulations, negotiating commercial terms, and identifying new payment partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, account management, payment operations, enterprise sales, or a related commercial role.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.
- Strong knowledge of payment ecosystems in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China.
- Strong relationship management, negotiation, communication, research, analytical, and project management skills.
- Experience in fintech, payment service providers, digital payments, banking, mobile commerce, or financial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of Greater China regulatory environments and local payment landscapes is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Direct Carrier Billing, eWallets, account-to-account payments, FPS, or alternative payment methods is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily business operations, issue resolution, and performance tracking for existing Direct Carrier Billing and Local Payment Method partners.
- Provide guidance on Direct Carrier Billing and Local Payment Method requests.
- Maintain and grow relationships with merchants, business partners, and payment partners.
- Identify and research new payment partnership opportunities, contacts, and decision-makers.
- Negotiate commercial terms, costs, and performance optimizations with payment partners.
- Support new merchant launches by aligning with product, integration, compliance, and and legal stakeholders.
- Collaborate on optimization plans for payment flows, API integrations, settlement, and user experience.
- Monitor regulatory updates, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Optimize internal and external processes to improve efficiency and business results.
- Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and partner reports.
