About the Role

You will drive your own pipeline seeking out opportunities in the market and supporting the ongoing commercial growth strategy of the organization. You will build and maintain strategic relationships with merchants acquiring partners payment providers card schemes and other key players within the payments ecosystem, closing deals along the way. You will act as a brand ambassador for the company as it establishes its position in the market, identifying new business opportunities and owning the commercial pipeline from initial outreach through partnership launch. You will leverage your knowledge of the AI ecosystem to identify commercial opportunities and build partnerships within the AI market. You will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, taking initiative and solving problems proactively, while collaborating with the wider business.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Business Development within fintech 3+ years, in payments, banking or related from 5 years
  • Strong expertise in payment acquiring, merchant accounts, banking, APM's
  • Demonstrated experience building partnerships and launching payment channels across the APAC region
  • Good understanding of the AI market and the ability to identify commercial opportunities within the ecosystem
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment with the ability to manage ambiguity and move quickly
  • Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-starter with a proactive, hands-on, and can-do attitude
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is required
