About the Role
You design develop test and maintain backend services and APIs for card issuing. You build scalable systems support payment integrations troubleshoot production issues improve reliability and collaborate on feature delivery and operational support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- 3–5 years of backend engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Golang
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Experience with SQL databases preferably MariaDB or MySQL
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub workflows
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong debugging troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
- Familiarity with Kubernetes cloud infrastructure and observability tools
Responsibilities
- Design develop test and maintain backend services and APIs
- Build and maintain highly available scalable systems
- Integrate third party APIs and payment providers
- Troubleshoot system issues performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges
- Support regression integration and reliability testing
- Address bugs technical debt and operational support requests
- Participate in sprint planning code reviews and technical discussions
- Implement security and engineering best practices
- Build internal operational tools and reporting systems
- Support incident response and on-call duties
- Collaborate on feature delivery and platform improvements
