About the Role
You will design and maintain microservices and stream processing pipelines for risk management, regulatory reporting, and clearing. You will develop market data infrastructure, optimize trade lifecycle workflows, ensure resilience, and turn complex requirements into reliable technical solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of engineering experience supporting front office trading systems at a regulated financial institution
- Advanced Java proficiency
- Implementation experience with Aeron and Kafka
- Experience designing data structures event schemas and database models
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL data stores
- Knowledge of testing methodologies SDLC Twelve-Factor App HA/DR strategies and hexagonal architecture
- Ability to use Large Language Models to accelerate development
- Familiarity with AWS GCP Kubernetes Docker Airflow or DBT
- Knowledge of FIX and FIXML protocols
- Familiarity with Databricks Snowflake BigQuery Tableau or Superset
