About the Role
You will design, develop, configure, and maintain Finacle customizations, integrations, scripts, and batch programs. You will build Java microservices and APIs, develop database solutions, automate deployments, troubleshoot production issues, support releases, and implement secure, tested banking technology solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Computing, Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related subject
- 4–10 years of backend-development experience including Finacle customization or integration using Java, SQL, and Unix or Shell scripting
- Hands-on Finacle application development, customization, implementation, upgrade, or production-support experience
- Knowledge of Finacle architecture, user hooks, scripts, batch jobs, interfaces, configuration, and deployment artefacts
- Banking-domain knowledge in CASA, term deposits, loans, payments, customer or account services, or core banking integrations
- Proficiency in Java, Oracle SQL, PLSQL, Unix or Shell scripting, and Finacle scripting
- Experience with microservices, Spring Boot, messaging, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, databases, cloud platforms, testing, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, observability, troubleshooting, and incident management
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain Finacle customizations, scripts, batch programs, menus, and interfaces
- Build integrations between Finacle and surrounding platforms
- Translate banking requirements into technical solutions
- Develop Oracle SQL, PLSQL, and Unix or Shell scripts
- Support impact assessment, deployments, regression validation, releases, and post-release verification
- Diagnose online and batch issues and implement durable fixes
- Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices
- Develop REST APIs and API documentation
- Maintain MySQL and Redis databases and database migrations
- Implement features using domain-driven design and test-driven development
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production systems
- Deploy containerized services through CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes
