About the Role
You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable backend systems supporting custodial and execution accounts. You will shape technical designs, deliver new features with cross-functional partners, automate workflows, and improve performance and reliability. You will own production services end to end, including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on back-end development
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or other back-end languages
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and ORM frameworks
- Ability to balance design work with hands-on delivery
- Interest in cryptocurrency
- Fluency in English
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable back-end systems
- Shape high-level system designs and technical approaches for medium-to-large initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features
- Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Perform impact analysis and detailed design, and translate designs into engineering tasks
- Automate business workflows
- Implement core components and pair with engineers when needed
- Own production services end to end, including deployment and monitoring
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
