About the Role
You will design and build event-driven finance platforms, APIs, SDKs, ledger services, and accounting engines. You will implement audit controls, operate reliable production services, and translate finance and control requirements into scalable technical designs.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering in Go, Java, Rust, or Python at scale
- Experience with high-volume event-driven systems
- Experience with idempotent processing, replay, and backfill
- Experience with relational data models and complex SQL
- Experience designing APIs, SDKs, and service integrations
- Experience building auditable, access-controlled, or compliant systems
- Experience translating non-engineering requirements into technical designs
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and experience
Responsibilities
- Design and build finance APIs, event buses, adapters, data-quality gates, and event processing
- Drive development of the accounting ledger and engine
- Design and build SDKs and frameworks for finance applications and agents
- Implement audit trails, maker-checker controls, scoped access, and segregation of duties
- Build and operate reliable tax and collections services
- Define platform architecture, engineering standards, and design reviews
