About the Role

You will serve as legal counsel for AI and machine-learning product teams. You will advise on model development, agentic workflows, multimodal outputs, clinical use, intellectual property, training-data rights, and AI-generated-content liability. You will develop legal frameworks and contract language, support privacy and model-risk assessments, and advise on emerging AI regulation.

Requirements

• 12+ years of legal experience
• 6+ years counseling on AI, machine learning, or emerging technology products
• Prior in-house experience
• Knowledge of AI intellectual property, copyright, training-data rights, model liability, and responsible AI principles
• Ability to translate regulatory and technical AI concepts into practical guidance

Responsibilities

• Advise AI and machine-learning product teams on legal issues across model development and clinical use
• Identify and mitigate AI-specific legal risks involving model behavior, accuracy, intellectual property, data provenance, training rights, and liability
• Develop scalable legal processes, frameworks, and contract language for AI development
• Advise on AI legal and policy matters and engage with external counsel, regulators, and industry groups
• Support privacy impact assessments, model risk assessments, and AI data-governance frameworks
• Partner on AI transparency, accountability, and human-oversight principles
