About the Role
You will lead and mentor computational biologists and data scientists while contributing directly to target discovery. You will evaluate molecular evidence, develop methods for target nomination and disease-biology validation, define data-package criteria, and communicate analyses to decision-makers. You will partner with biology, engineering, chemistry, translational, and clinical experts to advance therapeutic programs.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant computational field and at least 3 years of biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience, or a relevant MS and at least 5 years of experience
- Expertise in oncology or immunological diseases
- Understanding of patient genetics and disease-pathway druggability
- Experience applying probabilistic, statistical, or machine learning methods to biological or clinical data
- Python or R
- Data visualization
- Experience managing and developing direct reports
- Cross-functional communication skills
