About the Role
You will analyze high-volume payment and merchant data to identify bottlenecks, drop-offs, and growth opportunities. You will build and maintain dashboards and semantic models, define and monitor business KPIs, validate complex datasets with SQL and Python, and provide analysis and forecasting for strategic business questions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, or a related quantitative discipline
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and query optimization
- Experience using Python with pandas and NumPy or R for exploratory analysis, data wrangling, and statistical evaluation
- Hands-on experience with Google Looker, Power BI, or Tableau
- Ability to identify data discrepancies, understand payment and fintech workflows, and communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and analyze payment transaction and merchant data
- Identify operational bottlenecks, drop-offs, and growth opportunities
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and semantic models in Google Looker and Power BI
- Define, standardize, and monitor business KPIs with Commercial, Operations, and Product teams
- Write optimized SQL queries and Python scripts to aggregate and validate datasets
- Deliver data-backed analysis, scenario analysis, and performance forecasts for strategic questions
