About the Role
Join UTA's Finance Client Accounting team as the point person for accounting matters for an assigned department. The role manages accurate booking information in a GAAP-compliant environment, processes payments, supports reporting, maintains quality metrics, and improves booking processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Prior customer-service experience and strong communication skills.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage high transaction volumes.
- Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
- Understanding of fundamental accounting principles, accrual accounting, and contracts administration.
- Experience with financial or enterprise systems such as NetSuite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Meet with assigned agents and assistants to ensure complete and accurate booking data and reports.
- Process client payments accurately and in compliance with legal and tax requirements.
- Liaise with clients and agents regarding invoices, statements, debits, tax matters, and account questions.
- Enter and maintain client bookings and review data for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with counterparties and the Cash Management team to complete booking details and apply payments correctly.
- Provide reporting to support forecasting, collections, and client performance insights.
- Provide customer service, build trusted relationships, and assist with process improvements and ad hoc requests.
