About the Role

You'll join a growing Financial Services Sales team focused on new business acquisition across hedge funds, asset management firms, investment banks, and private equity firms. You'll own the full sales cycle within your territory, partnering with Sales Development Representatives to identify and nurture high-potential prospects. You'll take a consultative, value-driven approach to uncover client challenges and shape solutions, deliver impactful product demos that showcase AlphaSense's AI-driven insights, and run seamless trials alongside Product Specialists to drive strong conversion rates. You'll maintain a healthy, high-velocity pipeline with accurate forecasting while working toward ambitious targets, and act as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, collaborating with internal teams to share feedback and influence product development.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of SaaS sales experience in value-based, consultative environments, with a focus on Financial Services
  • Demonstrated success engaging end-user personas such as Analysts, Associates, and Portfolio Managers, consistently exceeding targets in new business acquisition roles
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic, fast-paced environments with a proactive approach
  • Curiosity and coachability, with receptiveness to feedback and commitment to continuous learning
  • Proficiency in modern sales processes and technology stacks, conducting product demonstrations, and managing multiple client trials concurrently
  • Strong communication skills to articulate the value of AI-driven insights to diverse stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of the Financial Services sector, including challenges faced by buy-side and sell-side clients

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle within your territory, leading new business acquisition across hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, and sell-side research firms
  • Drive pipeline growth by partnering with Sales Development Representatives to identify, engage, and nurture high-potential prospects
  • Hunt and win new logos through a consultative, value-driven approach
  • Deliver impactful product demos that communicate AlphaSense's value
  • Run seamless product trials alongside Product Specialists to ensure high conversion rates
  • Maintain a healthy, high-velocity pipeline with accurate forecasting
  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients and collaborate with internal teams to share feedback and influence product development
