Assistant to Senior Director Music Brand Partnerships

About the Role
You will support and help execute music brand partnership deals while managing administrative workflows. You will manage a high-volume inbox, calendars, meeting preparation, contracts, payments, client schedules, expenses, and travel. You will track new-business targets, research brands and agencies, create artist and brand pitch materials, liaise with clients and partners, and coordinate finance across partnership deals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a brand, marketing, or advertising agency
- Understanding of brands, marketing agencies, and how they operate
- Understanding of and curiosity about the wider entertainment industry
- Experience creating decks and writing copy for pitch materials, or adaptable equivalent experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of social media metrics and audience data
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload and manage several projects simultaneously
- Ability to develop business relationships with clients, senior-level executives, and colleagues
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client service-focused environment
- Interest in current social media platform developments and capabilities
Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume inbox, partnership deal flow, calendar, and meeting preparation
- Track new-business targets across brands and agencies
- Maintain spreadsheets and draft pitch correspondence
- Support the execution of brand partnership deals
- Liaise with external clients, partners, and internal staff; join calls and meetings; and follow up on next steps
- Work with PR, brand, and media agencies to obtain client briefs and opportunities
- Identify organic growth and new-business opportunities
- Conduct research and create presentations
- Create and manage marketing materials for brand and artist pitches
- Track contracts, client calendars, and payments in detailed grids
- Prepare monthly expense reports for Finance review and approval
- Coordinate finance across partnership deals with artist and brand teams
