About the Role
You will plan and execute aircraft modifications, manage and train modification personnel, coordinate external contractors, and maintain airworthiness. You will work with engineering, flight-test, regulatory, and supplier stakeholders; manage records and technical resources; and oversee regulatory certification processes.
Requirements
- Valid A&P license
- Valid driver's license
- 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience
- 5+ years of aircraft modification experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Customer service skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft software suite proficiency
- Google software suite proficiency
- Ability to work on the hangar floor, aircraft, and in the office
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute aircraft modifications
- Provide aircraft status updates and downtime forecasts
- Plan staffing and hire modification personnel
- Manage and train aircraft modification personnel
- Coordinate external modification agents and contractors
- Ensure aircraft remain airworthy
- Perform inspections, repairs, and component changes
- Coordinate with engineering, flight-test, regulatory, and supplier stakeholders
- Maintain work records, logbooks, and maintenance records
- Manage aircraft certification submissions with regulatory agencies
