About the Role
You will partner with Finance subject matter experts to diagnose workflows and identify high-impact AI and automation opportunities. You will build, validate, monitor, document, and hand off AI agents and data solutions. You will write SQL, optimize data pipelines, create reusable knowledge and validation layers, and resolve technical and data issues. You will work with users on real deliverables, incorporate feedback, and develop supportable solutions. You will create SOPs, runbooks, training, and self-service tools so Finance teams can operate and improve the solutions independently. You will measure adoption and impact, establish observability and incident-response processes, and turn successful implementations into reusable standards and playbooks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, technical operations, business intelligence, automation, solutions delivery, or a related field.
- 2+ years of program-management experience working with business leaders on process transformation programs.
- Hands-on experience building AI-enabled tools, agents, automations, or workflows that changed a real business process.
- Strong SQL proficiency, including complex queries using CTEs, window functions, and joins.
- Experience independently scoping and delivering technical process-improvement solutions from problem definition through adoption.
- Analytical and investigative skills for root-cause analysis, debugging complex data problems, and resolving inconsistencies.
- Written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences and collaborating with domain experts and Engineering partners.
- Experience teaching, coaching, enabling users, or transferring solution ownership through documentation, training, or self-service tools.
- Working knowledge of version control, testing, code review, and iterative delivery.
- Experience with low-code tools, scripting, workflow automation, AI-assisted development, or custom integrations.
Responsibilities
- Embed with Finance teams to diagnose workflows and translate business, data, and control requirements into AI and automation solutions.
- Build and operationalize AI agents from prototype through validation, monitoring, documentation, and handoff.
- Write and optimize SQL for data extraction, transformation, calculation, and validation.
- Design reusable knowledge layers, evaluation methods, validation patterns, data-quality frameworks, and components.
- Assess agentic limitations and partner with Engineering on custom tools and integrations when needed.
- Build alongside users, gather feedback through real deliverables, and iterate on solutions.
- Create SOPs, runbooks, training, and self-service tooling to enable long-term ownership.
- Establish monitoring, observability, metrics, alerting, and incident-response processes for deployed agents.
- Diagnose and resolve technical and data issues, collaborating with Engineering on platform changes.
- Measure adoption and impact and convert successful implementations into standards, components, and playbooks.
