About the Role
You lead Plaid’s AI partnership strategy, identify AI-native partners and use cases, drive partnerships and deals, structure commercial arrangements, develop market perspectives, and coordinate cross-functional GTM initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or corporate development
- Ability to drive deals and manage external relationships
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and build from 0 to 1
- Interest in AI and emerging technologies
- Experience with AI companies or developer/API platforms preferred
- Background in fintech or financial infrastructure preferred
- Startup or high-growth environment experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Own Plaid’s AI partnership strategy and cross-functional stakeholder management
- Identify AI-native partners and use cases
- Drive and execute AI-related partnership deals
- Define commercial structures and partnership requirements
- Develop perspectives on AI trends, competition, and partner needs
- Support marketing, enablement, and event initiatives
- Build and scale the AI GTM Pod
