About the Role
You will own AI-answer optimization, generative-engine optimization, and SEO strategy. You will build citation and content programs, manage technical and on-page SEO, measure AI referral and search performance, run experiments, and oversee search agencies, vendors, and tools.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in growth marketing, SEO, content, or technical marketing
- Experience owning a channel end to end
- Experience delivering results in a new channel or skill area
- Technical SEO knowledge including crawling, indexing, structured data, and site architecture
- Content production and editorial direction
- Experience using AI for automations, agents, dashboards, or small applications
Responsibilities
- Define and execute AEO and GEO strategy
- Build programs to earn citations across web surfaces
- Own keyword strategy, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and organic growth
- Produce and direct content for LLM crawlers and human readers
- Build reporting for AI referrals, citation tracking, signups, and revenue
- Run controlled experiments
- Manage agency, vendor, and search-tool relationships
