About the Role

You will lead PLC and HMI development and implementation for industrial control systems. You will define technical work, validate requirements, execute test strategies, resolve system issues, document configurations, support customers, and perform customer updates on-site or remotely.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Knowledge of power systems for drive-control design
• Experience with AC/DC drive-control architecture
• At least 5 years of industrial control-system design and implementation using PLCs, HMIs, and drives
• At least 5 years of programming PLCs, HMIs, and related industrial-control equipment
• At least 5 years of automated-systems engineering experience
• Advanced Rockwell PLC programming experience, including ControlLogix and GuardLogix
• Advanced knowledge of industrial networks
• Experience with Ignition 8 or FactoryTalk ME/SE HMI development
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
• Experience troubleshooting complex automated systems
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel up to 45%

Responsibilities

• Define and plan technical work with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead test strategy execution, reporting, and compliance validation
• Lead improvement initiatives and approve technical solutions
• Coach less experienced employees
• Perform root-cause analysis and resolve issues
• Develop and modify PLC and HMI control system functionality
• Document equipment configurations, system functionality, and procedures
• Perform PLC and HMI updates for customers
• Support customers and production sites
• Lead design efforts for dedicated systems
