About the Role
You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities; improve reconciliation and reporting processes; investigate account variances; coordinate audit requests and deliverables; and mentor accounting staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- 6+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Public accounting experience
- Corporate accounting experience
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- General ledger management
- Audit support experience
- Prepared-By-Client request coordination experience
- SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience preferred
- Manufacturing and cost accounting experience
- Labor and materials tracking experience
- Inventory capitalization knowledge
- BOM accounting knowledge
Responsibilities
- Optimize close timelines and implement scalable processes
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Perform account fluctuation analyses and investigate variances
- Support financial reporting under U.S. GAAP
- Oversee and improve balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure assigned accounts are reconciled, supported, and documented
- Standardize reconciliation processes
- Coordinate Prepared-By-Client requests for external audits
- Track and follow up on audit deliverables
- Address auditor and internal-team inquiries
- Manage and mentor accounting staff
