About the Role

You will lead and mentor data professionals while overseeing investment and accounting data governance, validation, and controls. You will improve data pipelines and workflows, resolve complex data issues, support onboarding and migrations, and lead automation and operating-model transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, information technology, data management, or a related field
• Eight or more years of relevant experience in investment operations, investment accounting, data management, or financial services
• Experience leading teams or complex operational processes
• Understanding of fixed income, equity, derivative, and alternative investments
• Knowledge of investment accounting, fund accounting, regulatory reporting, or outsourced accounting operations
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality, risk management, and operational-control frameworks
• Experience with Aladdin or comparable investment-management platforms
• Working knowledge of SQL, data analysis, automation, data engineering concepts, and ETL processes
• Experience leading process automation or operational-transformation initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of data professionals
• Oversee the setup, maintenance, validation, and governance of investment and accounting data
• Provide oversight of data pipelines, automated processes, exception management, and reconciliations
• Improve data architecture, workflows, and straight-through-processing capabilities with technology teams
• Resolve complex data inquiries and coordinate resolutions across stakeholder groups
• Support client onboarding, data migrations, and new implementations
• Lead strategic initiatives for scalability, data quality, operating-model transformation, and platform modernization
