About the Role
You will prepare accurate internal financial statements and reports, analyze results, manage monthly close and reconciliations, coordinate annual audits, file required reports, resolve accounting issues, maintain reporting controls, and develop policies and supporting documentation for financial reporting.
Requirements
- Have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Hold a CPA qualification
- Have Big 4 accounting firm experience or experience in a similar environment
- Have 5 to 8 years of financial reporting experience
- Have SEC disclosure and reporting experience
- Know IFRS and US GAAP
- Know internal-control best practices
- Have Oracle knowledge
Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports
- Analyze financial reports and support process improvements
- Review earnings releases, investor presentations, and conference call scripts
- Coordinate complex financial analysis and reporting with internal teams
- Manage monthly closing, reconciliations, and account analysis
- Coordinate annual audits and prepare financial reporting packages
- Ensure financial reporting compliance and file quarterly forms
- Research and resolve accounting issues and implement accounting pronouncements
- Maintain financial reporting processes, controls, policies, and procedures
- Prepare and interpret operating results for management reports
- Maintain supporting documentation and provide financial analysis to departments and committees
