About the Role
You will oversee general accounting operations across three operating entities. You will manage financial transactions, company credit cards, employee expense statements, account reconciliations, bank payments, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. You will prepare VAT and income-tax returns, report on financial health and liquidity, audit transactions and documents, and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Demonstrate accounting proficiency
- Have 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Possess strong knowledge of Czech Accounting Standards, IFRS, and taxation
- Translate complex information into a simple storyline
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve execution and automation
- Pay attention to detail and work toward tight deadlines
- Demonstrate collaboration skills
- Speak fluent English at B2/C1 level
- Speak Czech
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions across two systems and three operating entities
- Manage company credit cards
- Implement and manage employee expense statements
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Compute taxes and prepare VAT and income-tax returns
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
