About the Role
You will manage and review month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. You will reconcile cryptocurrency wallets, exchanges, and blockchain transactions; prepare financial-reporting support; assist with audits; and improve accounting processes through automation and workflow enhancements. You will also coordinate with FP&A on budgets and forecasts and stay current on cryptocurrency regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of public and private accounting experience in Financial Services, FinTech, and/or Digital Assets
- Knowledge of IFRS accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software and familiarity with blockchain-based financial tools
- Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to evolving regulations
- Basic understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and digital asset management
Responsibilities
- Manage and review month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Reconcile cryptocurrency wallets, exchanges, and blockchain transactions
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures for the cryptocurrency industry
- Prepare and review financial statements with the SEC Reporting team
- Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Monitor cryptocurrency regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards
- Implement and optimize accounting software and blockchain-based financial tools
- Coordinate with FP&A on budgets, forecasts, and financial planning
- Automate balance sheet reconciliations
- Improve accounting workflows, month-end close efficiency, and internal controls
