About the Role
You will manage day-to-day accounting, reporting, and analysis for assigned data center development projects and operating sites. You will maintain construction-in-progress schedules, complete month-end close activities, review project costs, apply lease accounting, prepare financial reports, and support controls and audit requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with real estate development, construction, infrastructure, or data center operations
- Knowledge of construction-in-progress accounting, fixed assets, and ASC 842
Responsibilities
- Maintain construction-in-progress schedules and capitalize, allocate, and transfer project costs to fixed assets
- Complete assigned month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, inter-company allocations, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Partner with development, construction, and site operations teams to review invoices, change orders, and project budgets
- Investigate variances and code costs to the correct project, phase, and general ledger account
- Apply ASC 842 to ground leases, power agreements, and real estate contracts
- Maintain lease schedules and ensure correct lease classification, measurement, and disclosure
- Prepare monthly project-level and site-level financial reporting packages
- Execute SOX-relevant controls and support internal and external audit requests
