About the Role
You will manage day-to-day workplace operations, travel, vendors, budgets, office logistics, and monthly on-sites. You will also develop employee engagement, culture, learning, growth, onboarding, and team-event experiences. You will establish and continuously improve scalable workplace and people processes.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in workplace, event management, and people experience
- Experience at a scaling company
- Exceptional service mindset
- Ability to build and improve processes in ambiguous environments
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Knowledge of UK health and safety requirements
- Communication with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Vendor and budget management experience
Responsibilities
- Run day-to-day workplace operations, including facilities, vendors, supplies, deliveries, maintenance, and health and safety
- Manage business travel in partnership with Finance and the wider company
- Coordinate monthly on-site logistics, including venues, accommodation, travel, catering, and agendas
- Manage landlord, building-management, and vendor relationships, office budgets, and contracts
- Support workplace onboarding and offboarding, including access and equipment handover
- Create and maintain cultural rituals, traditions, and moments for a remote team
- Design and run employee engagement programs with the People leader
- Design team on-sites and leadership sessions
- Build learning, workshop, mentoring, and growth programs
- Shape the employee journey from onboarding through key milestones
- Plan and deliver team events and in-person connection opportunities
- Establish and improve workplace and people processes
