Fnality UK Limited operates the Sterling Fnality Payment System (£FnPS), a Bank of England-regulated wholesale payment and settlement system using distributed-ledger technology and a digital representation of central-bank funds to support real-time, atomic settlement. The system commenced controlled live payments in December 2023 and is being scaled under regulatory limits.

About the Role
You will shape the direction and delivery of wholesale payment products for EUR, USD, and other currencies. You will translate customer, regulatory, and commercial requirements into clear product features, user journeys, technical specifications, roadmaps, and delivery plans. You will coordinate stakeholders across product, technology, operations, legal, risk, participants, and external partners; manage release sequencing, risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers; facilitate customer engagement; and represent Product in governance meetings.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of RTGS systems, high-value payments, settlement processes, DvP, and PvP
- Practical experience with SWIFT ISO 20022 MX messaging and familiarity with MT/MX formats
- Experience working within a regulated payment institution
- Understanding of financial-services regulation for payments and market infrastructure
- Familiarity with blockchain and distributed ledger technology
- Understanding of distributed systems, reliability, security, and high-performance architectures
- Experience working with engineering teams and integration partners
- Practical experience using Confluence, Jira, and collaboration tools
- Understanding of SDLC and agile delivery methodologies
- Stakeholder-management, risk-management, issue-management, and dependency-management experience
- Strong written communication and technical translation skills

Responsibilities
- Facilitate collaboration across product, technology, operations, risk, legal, and customer teams
- Define and prioritize product features with Senior Product Managers
- Drive continuous discovery using customer feedback, regulatory developments, and market changes
- Develop business requirements and acceptance criteria
- Translate business requirements into user journeys and technical specifications
- Evaluate DvP, PvP, and digital-asset use cases and produce requirements
- Produce business requirements, feature descriptions, and release notes
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept through release
- Define product goals, KPIs, and value metrics
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, participants, and external partners
- Maintain and communicate product roadmaps
- Drive customer and user engagement through working groups, forums, and testing cycles
- Maintain delivery plans, task assignments, and progress tracking
- Maintain risk, issue, and dependency logs and escalate when needed
- Identify critical-path blockers and coordinate resolution
- Represent Product in governance meetings
