About the Role
You will improve two-dimensional and three-dimensional finite-element welding models, perform sensitivity studies, and extend models to new materials and configurations. You will develop a Python API to automate result processing, compare simulations with experimental data, and present results in French and English.
Requirements
- Pursue a final-year engineering degree or Master 2 specializing in materials or mechanics
- Have knowledge of materials, solid mechanics, numerical methods, and finite elements
- Have Python programming knowledge
- Have English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking
- Knowledge of FORGE NxT is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Improve two-dimensional and three-dimensional finite-element models
- Conduct sensitivity studies of physical and numerical parameters
- Develop models for new materials and welding configurations
- Develop a Python API to automate result processing
- Compare calculation results with available experimental data
- Present results in French and English
