About the Role
Lead a high-performing engineering organization, define technical vision, guide architecture, drive execution, and ensure scalable, secure, and reliable platform delivery. Partner with Product, Design, and Operations while embedding CI/CD, observability, security, privacy, compliance, and strong operational practices.
Requirements
- 10-15 years of experience in engineering leadership roles, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or technology-enabled services.
- Experience leading engineering teams at high-growth technology companies or scale-ups.
- Deep technical expertise across modern architectures and cloud platforms.
- Track record managing and growing high-performing distributed engineering teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Passion for secure, scalable, customer-centric platforms.
- Hands-on experience with agile development, DevOps, and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Strong business acumen and ability to align engineering strategy with company objectives.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the recruitment, development, and retention of a world-class engineering team.
- Set and execute engineering vision and technical direction with executive and product leadership.
- Define and deliver engineering strategy for scalable and secure platform growth.
- Drive timely, high-quality engineering execution across teams.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for performance, code quality, stability, and deployment efficiency.
- Promote feedback, mentorship, career development, and ongoing coaching.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations on priorities and roadmap planning.
- Champion CI/CD, testing, observability, and agile methodologies.
- Oversee architecture across backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
- Manage engineering budgets, headcount planning, and resource allocation.
- Represent engineering priorities at the leadership level.
- Maintain onboarding, documentation, and workflows for team scaling.
- Embed data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance into engineering practices.
